To the West, My Brother, to the West

My Lady and I are driving to California tomorrow. Pray for us. I am dark-skinned and she is light-skinned, so the Texas police and rednecks will be out to get us. I'm sure I'll have stories when we get to the other side, if we get to the other side.

Ahhh....

"Quint" and "KP"

Welcome to the California.
Where racism is covert. Almost as covert as black owned businesses.

Quint, I've got a question for you which has little or nothing to do with Cali. Anyways, here it is.

This weekend I was vegging out on my couch watching HBO, Cinemax, and the like when I noticed they were playing the last Lord of the Rings movie, not having seen it, I decided to partake in an almost four hour expereince of CGI, Hobbit Homoeroticism and Swordfighting (get the pun), anywyas, what I noticed in the movie, adn I recall this from the previous two as well is that there were no black people in this film. Why is that? Were there no black people in Middle Earth? Or is Peter Jackson simply a racist who refused to cast people of African decent in his epic trilogy? Please elaborate.

Thanks,
- el Jacek

The only place i've seen black people fighting along with white people is Gladiator. And even then the Gladiators were slaves. Maybe the director didn't wanna take heat for having blacks painted in a dark way (no pun intended). That and he isn't secure enough to put blacks as warriors and not in any other form of slavery.

By the way QN i like the racial coments and generalizations, it makes people stop and think about how true the generalizations are.
Keep up the work when in Cali
